1. What materials are your bird feeders and bird houses made from? Our bird houses and feeders are made from recycled poly lumber, a durable and eco-friendly material that resists cracking, splitting, and fading. This ensures long-lasting performance in all weather conditions.

2. Is poly lumber weather-resistant? Yes. The poly lumber material used for our feeders is UV-resistant and impervious to rain, snow, and sun exposure. Stainless steel hardware ensures durability and prevents rust.

3. What is poly lumber made from? Poly lumber material is made from recycled plastic such as milk jugs, plastic water bottles and grocery bags. This post consumer waste products are transformed into a type of engineered wood that is strong, weather-resistant and won't crack or fade like regular wood. 4. Are your products made in the USA? Absolutely. All of our bird feeders and houses are handcrafted by Amish artisans in Pennsylvania, ensuring top-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

5. How do I clean the bird feeders? Cleaning is simple. Many of our feeders, such as the Large Hopper Style Feeder, feature removable plexiglass sides or mesh bottoms, making it easy to wash out old seed and debris. You can use a mild detergent and brush if needed, then rinse well with a garden hose. We recommend cleaning your feeder regularly to maintain bird health.

6. Are the bird houses as easy to clean? Yes! Many of our bird houses, including the Church-Inspired Wren Bird House, feature a slide-out base or front panel that opens for quick and easy cleaning after each nesting season.

7. What types of birds will your feeders attract? Our bird feeders are designed to attract a variety of birds, including cardinals, finches, chickadees, blue jays, and woodpeckers. You can change the type of seed in your birdfeeder to attract your favorite birds. The Large Hopper Feeder with Suet Cages can also attract birds that enjoy suet, like wrens and robins.

8. How much seed do the feeders hold? Seed capacity varies by model. Our Large Hopper Style Feeders can hold a generous amount of seed, while the Oriole Feeder is designed to hold jelly and orange slices.

9. How do I hang or mount the bird feeders? Our feeders come with attached chains or hooks for easy hanging from trees or garden hooks. Some models, like the Porch Swing Feeder, have an O ring, that can be hung directly on a Shephard's hook or in a tree with an S-hook. S-hooks need to be purchased separately. 

10. How do I choose the right bird house for my garden? Consider the types of birds you want to attract. Our Classic Wren Houses are great for small birds like wrens and chickadees, while the Sparrow Resistant Bluebird House is ideal for bluebirds. The Church-Inspired Wren Bird House adds aesthetic charm to any outdoor space.

11. How can I attract birds to use the bird house? Place the bird house in a quiet, open area away from heavy foot traffic and predators. Providing nearby food and water sources will also encourage birds to nest in your bird house.
